He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Hartzheim (Barb); his daughter Patricia Hinkens; his siblings, Beata Hahn, Bonnie Thews, Romy Hinkens and J. Duane Hinkens; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Hahn and Billy Harthziem.
He is survived by: his sons, Greg (Mary) and Gary (Becky); his grandchildren, Jaxson Hinkens, Erin Ballard (Andy), Bailey Kemps, Jim Springhetti (Lindsey), Garrison, Carleigh and Reid Hinkens; and his siblings-in-law, Jacki Swiecichowski (David), Mary Hinkens, Ginny Hinkens and Don Thews. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In lieu of flowers , a memorial fund has been established by the family.
