He was predeceased by: his father-in-law Victor Schroth (Evelyn); his siblings, Kenneth, Donald, Leroy Koehnke, Beatrice Arnoldussen (Lloyd), Nancy Mandel (Roy), Jeanette Yogerst (Donald Houle) (Jack) and Vivian Plamann (Melvin); and his brothers-in-law, Ronald Schroeder, John Sepich, Jim Vonck and Russell Wagner.
He is survived by: his sister Agnes Koehnke (Ellenbecker); his wife Carleen Schroth; his children, Gail Sommers (Tim) and Paul Koehnke; his grandchildren, Jill Griesbach (Patrick), Emily Patek (John), Ryan and Carley Sommers; his great grandchildren, Cecilia and James Patek; his siblings, Ralph Jr., Marvin Koehnke (Cathy), Robert, Richard, Gary (Patti), Roger Koehnke, Geraldine Schroeder, Marion Sepich and Linda Vonck; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Koehnke, Yvonne Wagner and Gary Schroth (Joyce). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Bernard Catholic Church (1617 W Pine St, Appleton, WI 54914). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 2nd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
