He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Tiedt and Lauretta Tiedt (Kressin); his wife Connie Simon; his parents-in-law, Lester and LaVera Simon; and his sister-in-law Mary Simon.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jennifer Stoehr (Kyle) of Okauchee, Jessica Johnson of Phoenix and Jill Magill (Matt) of New Berlin; his grandchildren, Owen, Maxwell, Norah, Ella, Beckett, Wyatt, Carter and Sawyer; his brother Dennis Tiedt (Elaine); his siblings-in-law, Carla Bagstad (Paul), Leslie Simon (Debbie), David Simon and Cindy Eberly (Rodger); and his friends, John and Nancy Reader. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (W7265 School Rd, Greenville, WI 54942). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the Tiedt family kindly requests that memorials be made in David's name to Immanuel Lutheran Church, in Greenville, or the ALS Association.
