She is survived by : her parents, Roger Groeschel and Judith Groeschel (Kaniess); her husband Matt Schlawin of Appleton; her children, Nathan Schlawin, Lauren Miller (Nathan), Daniel Schlawin (Olivera) and Justin Schlawin; her grandchildren, Isaiah, Titus, Miriam and Maksim; her siblings, Pam Schleif (Jeff), Mark Groeschel (Sherry) and John Groeschel (Kris); and her in-laws, Mary Schlawin, Ben Schlawin, Michal Meek (Ken), Deborah Schlawin, Joseph Schlawin (Karen) and Stephanie Schmid (Chuck).

Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 5th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fox Valley Lutheran High School (5300 N Meade St, Appleton, WI 54913). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
