He is survived by: his children, Susan Burroughs, Peter Sauberlich (Stacy), Richard Sauberlich (Lois) and Mary Vandenheuvel (Ron); his grandchildren, Amy Burroughs (Chris), Shelly Burroughs, Bryanne Sauberlich, Mehgan Hoertsch (Tyler), Spencer Sauberlich (Ashley), Kelsie Sauberlich, Madison Sauberlich (Dominick), Sara Martell (Dan), Aidan Sauberlich, Amber Smith (Mat), Kimberly Ziegler (Ben) and Lindsay Vandenheuvel (Alec); and his great grandchildren, Hannah, Blake, Macaira, Emma, Lillian, Wyatt, Oliver, Ava, Elowyn, Baylor, Miles, Jo Ann, Bennett, Connor, Khloe, Easton and Remington. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for the White Lake Preservation Association (https://www.whitelakepreserve.org) and Saving Paws.
