She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Steward and Laura Steward (Winterfeldt); her granddaughter Carol Ann; her siblings, Douglas, Ronald, Lyle (Gladys), Roger and Elsa; and her brothers-in-law, Quentin and Norman.

She is survived by: her husband James Barrett; her children, Jacque "Jay" and Deanne "Deedee"; her grandchildren, Antony, Danielle and Dennis (Amber); her great grandchild Azreal; and her sisters, Audrey and Eloise. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other extended relatives, and dear friends.
