He was predeceased by: his parents, Dirk Bavinck and Margaret Bavinck (Keyzef); and his siblings, John Bavinck (Charlotte), Joe Bavinck (Sandy), Kees Bavinck (Riet), Willie Schumacher (Don), Oedah Knol (Hugo), Mary Safford (Michael), Henny Kors (Wim) and Trien Stork.
He is survived by: his wife Antonette Bavinck (Boselie); his brother Ben Bavinck (Jude); his sons, Dan Bavinck (Pam), Jeff Bavinck and Chad Bavinck (Becky); his grandchild Jakobe Hammen (Brooke); and his great grandchild Nettie Hammen.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Appleton Alliance Church (2693 Grand Chute Blvd, Appleton, WI 54913). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location.
