Donna Warmbier Obituary

We announce the death of Donna Warmbier (Appleton, Wisconsin), who passed away on May 27, 2026, at the age of 89. Donna will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Leppla and Alice Leppla (Moder); her spouse La Vern Warmbier; her sisters, Betty Arndt (Harry), Carolyn and Carla Wege (Ron); and her sisters-in-law, Ruby Kramer (Eugene) and Sally Flease (Pete).

She is survived by: her children, Julie Fischer, Lynn Warmbier-Munger, Cindy Warmbier-Meyer (Michael) and Rick Warmbier (Susan); her grandchildren, Jason (Molly), Jeremy (Katie), Ryan (Abby), Seth, Justin (Ashley), Jade (Derek), Jordan (Danielle) and Taylor (Teagan); her great grandchildren, Landen, Zaiyn, Atlas, Ember, Haevyn, Brixsyn, Lennyx and Brayden; her brother Jim Leppla (Jackie); and her brother-in-law Ed Warmbier (Janet). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial is being established.
