She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Menzner and Kate Menzner; and her siblings, Kathleen McCurdy, Henrietta "Boots" Hansen and Don Menzner.
She is survived by: her husband Vandy Nachazel; her children, Nancy Bozek, Laura Nachazel, Scott Nachazel (Debbie) and Paula Kemppainen (Philip); her grandchildren, Jason Lesselyong, Nicole MacDonald (Andrew), Stephanie Nguyen (Derrick), Christopher Nachazel (Kim), Kimberly Kemppainen (Anand), Cassidy Gruesen (Andrew), Gerald Desmet and Matt Dejesus; and her great grandchildren, Gaige, Colton, Nyasia, Hunter, Preston, Drew and Xander.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Kathryn Maegli Davis Scholarship fund at Mount Mary University with a note or memo line in Dorothy's memory.
