George R. Bortner Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 8, 2022, at the age of 85, George R. Bortner of Appleton, Wisconsin, born in DeKalb, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bortner and Beatrice Bortner; and his sister Merriam Dammer (Audrey Bortner). He is survived by: his daughters, Jodi Mistlebauer (David Zelinski) and Cindy Steinhorst; his grandchildren, Robert, Merriam Mistlebauer, Franz, Metta Rupnow and Brennan Steinhorst; his great grandchildren, Eden, Asa Steinhorst, Charles, Vivienne Mistlebauer and Maci Rose Zantow; and his brother-in-law Gary Dammer (Reedith).
