She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Neubauer and Betty Neubauer; her husband Carl J. Esslinger; her son Gary Esslinger; and her siblings, Anthony Neubauer (Elaine) and Beatrice Sosinski (Edward).

She is survived by: her children, Mary Schaffer (Joe), Kathy Rooyers (Steve) and Dan Esslinger (Becky); her grandchildren, Shawn, Chad, Shane, Shauna, Derek, Justin, Tyler, Jamie and Tanner; her daughter-in-law Darla Dey; and her niece Barbara Pommerening (Jerry).
