It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gloria Jean McCarthy of Appleton, Wisconsin, born in Neenah, Wisconsin, who passed away on June 18, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Gloria Jean departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gloria Jean may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gloria Jean leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Porath and Eleanor Porath; and her sister Barbara. She is survived by: her husband Patrick McCarthy; her daughters, Sherry Miller (Jim) and Cindy Densmore (Tony); and her sister Vicki Meyers (Dewey). She is also survived by 3 grandchildren, nine nieces and nephews.
