With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Gregory M. Karrels of Appleton, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Gregory left this world on July 17, 2025 at the age of 67, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Karrels and Marge Karrels (Chesner); and his wife Tania Troncoso-Karrels. He is survived by: his children, Jonathon (Erin) and Anamaria; his granddaughters, Hailey, Madelyn and Charlotte; and his brothers, Ken (Audrey) and Jim (Jane). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the St. John Nepomucene Catholic Church (411 Vandenbroek St, Little Chute, WI 54140). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Gregory's honor to organizations close to his heart: • Wounded Warrior Project, supporting the recovery of veterans • Fisher House Foundation, offering support to veterans' families. Donating blood to your local blood bank, giving others the gift of time, as others gave to Gregory.
