Henry John Bauer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Henry John Bauer of Appleton, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 8, 2022 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry F. Bauer and Lillian Bauer (Neubauer); his parents-in-law, Charles and Linda Strey; his siblings, Gordon Bauer, Sarah Berndt (Edwin), Janis Krsnich (Joe) and Beverly Sommer (Clair); and his siblings-in-law, Marian Sherbert and Harold Strey.
He is survived by: his wife Joann Strey; his children, Sherry Hoesly (Jim) and Steve Bauer (Susie); his grandchildren, Mike Bauer (Sarah), Amie Lisowe (Chris), David Hoesly, Megan Hoesly and Brooke Morois (Craig); his great grandchildren, Lillian, Henry, Livia, Jeffrey Bauer, Karsten, Callee Lisowe, Luke and Levi Morois; his brother Roger Bauer (Jeanne); and his sisters-in-law, Elaine Bauer and June Strey. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers and other expressions of sympathy, a memorial donation in Henry's name can be made to either Faith Lutheran Church Radio Ministry or The Old Glory Honor Flight.
