It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ila Jean Abitz of Appleton, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 15, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert Weihing and Linda Weihing (Rahmlow); and her siblings, Gordon Weihing, Helen Weihing, Merle Weihing and Marion.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Schmoll (Don), Brent Abitz (Marcia) and Sue Abitz; her granddaughter Jen Widholm (Bob); her great grandchild Penelope; her grandson Ted Weber; her siblings, Barb Weihing, Bruce Weihing, Glenn, Charlene Weihing, Gary and Rosanne Weihing; and her siblings-in-law, Mary Weihing and Gerald Abitz.
While Ila dearly loved flowers, she would prefer donations be directed to her great-granddaughter's physical therapy fund.
