He is survived by: his wife Carol Gode; his son Carl Spangenberg; his daughter-in-law Lisa Spangenberg (Malon) of Thiensville, WI; his granddaughter Holly Wagner (Spangenberg) of Madison, WI; and his grandson-in-law John Wagner of Madison, WI. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
