He is survived by: his wife Barbara J. Biese; his son Thomas Benzschawel (Lori Batista); his grandchildren, Brad Krahn (Brett) and Sarah Troy (Shae); his great grandchildren, Ezekiel, Elijah and Kahlix; his siblings-in-law, Norman Steffens, Henry Biese (Pam), Gerald Biese (Ruth), Joan Lease (David), Wasilla of Alaska, William Biese (Linda), Joseph Biese (Sue), Carol VanDyke (Sam), Green Bay, Janice Schuessler (Dale) and Richard Biese (Kim); and his friends, Noel and Joan Yohr.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in his name.
