He was predeceased by: his parents, James H. Welhouse and Rose Mary Welhouse (McCann). He is survived by: his wife Peggy Engesuth; his sons, James Jr. and Joseph Welhouse; his siblings, Jacqueline Strobel (Welhouse) of Fon du Lac, WI, Jeffrey Welhouse and Mark Welhouse of Appleton, WI; and his aunt Bonnie Kuhr. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rude's Lanes (210 E Holum St, DeForest, WI 53532).
