Jeanette C. Oates Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeanette C. Oates (Appleton, Wisconsin), who passed away on December 26, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Jeanette is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Jeanette's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Birch and Dorothy Birch; her spouse Holland V. Oates; and her brother Thomas Birch. She is survived by: her children, John Oates (Sharon), Janice Duffy (Kris) and Holly Buckner (Floyd). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to St. Joseph Food Program in Menasha, Wisconsin.
