He was predeceased by: his father David Zaves; his parents-in-law, Charlene and Robert; his brother-in-law Randy; his nieces, Heather and Breana; and his great-nephew Atticus.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Breu; his daughters, Cassie and Maddie; his brothers, Mike (Kelly), Mark (Crystal), Chris (Tara) of Evansville, IN and Dan (Jamie); and his siblings-in-law, Deb Sobiech (Harvey), Kim Mancl (Scott), Kristen Breu, Roberta Lila (Dan), Jeff Breu (Jeanine) and Rick Breu (Sandi). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Valley Funeral Home (2211 N Richmond St, Appleton, WI 54911). A memorial service was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be created in his name.
