With sadness, we share the passing of Jerome Arden Tagatz in Appleton, Wisconsin. Jerome, born on September 27, 1951, passed away on September 24, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donita Tagatz (Strandt) and Arden Tagatz; his wife Janet Tagatz; and his grandparents, Emil, Ruby Strandt, Adolph and Ester Tagatz.
He is survived by: his brother Gregory Tagatz (Jillian); his nieces and nephews, Robert Tagatz, Bruce Westwood, Coral Westwood and Leah Nettekoven; and his siblings-in-law, John Wieland and Julie Wieland (Glenn Westwood).
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lake View Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel (2786 Algoma Blvd, Oshkosh, WI 54901). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Oshkosh Area Humane Society.
