He is survived by: his friends, Sharon Seiltz and Tom; his wife Sharon; his children, James Vanden Heuvel (Tamara) and Joy Lockery (Matt); his granddaughter Lauren Vanden Heuvel (Logan Langner); his great grandchild Ariana Cruz; his siblings, Jack Vanden Heuvel (Shirley) and Susan Kneepkens (Bob); his brother-in-law Kerry Seiltz (Carol); and his stepgrandchildren, Jason Lockery, Nikki Jackson (Brandon) and Brittany Muelemans (Matthew). He is also survived by 8 step great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
