He is survived by: his children, David Esler of San Francisco, Sarah Esler Pearsall (Alex Pearsall) of Chicago and Rebecca Esler (Gary Resch) of New York City; his grandchildren, Sean Esler, Liam Esler, Lauren Pearsall, Reid Pearsall, Alden Resch, Isaac Resch and Declan Resch; and his sister Mary Ann Esler.
