He was predeceased by: his father Clarence Schultz; and his brother Dick Schultz. He is survived by: his wife Carol J. Kuhn; his children, Troy Schultz (Vauna), Sharon Schultz-Barnard (Kevin), Joann Lyman (David) and John Schultz, Jr. (Julie); his grandchildren, Brittney Prokop (Greg), Tanya Lippert, Ashley Engen (Jayme), Crystal Lyman, Joshua Lyman and Zac Lyman (Tara); and his siblings, Don Schultz (Marion), Yvonne Trommer, James Schultz, Jerry Schultz (Judy) and Pam Tetting. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren.
