He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Hammond and John O. Hammond; his wife Virginia "Ginger" Hammond; and his siblings, Janet and Dwight.
He is survived by: his children, Ann Hammond Raabe (Doug Johnson) of Evansville, WI, Mark Hammond (Judy) of Peachtree City, GA and Eric Hammond (Debra) of Plymouth, MN.; and his grandchildren, Amanda Raabe Nelson (Scott Nelson), Andrew Raabe (Ashley Alexander), John, David Hammond, Mitchell and Cooper Hammond.
