John Knostenberg Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 7, 2023, at the age of 84, John Knostenberg of Appleton, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Janis Knostenbergs and Emma Knostenbergs (Piesis); his former wife Anne Knostenberg (Rowe); his sisters, Dace Van Gompel (Todd) and Vija Knostenberg; and his brother-in-law George Berzin.

He is survived by: his children, Tina Foth (Mark), Kimm Van Herwynen (Jim), Jon Knostenberg and Jamie Codjia (Henri); his grandchildren, Olivia Foth, Mason Foth, Mitchell Van Herwynen, Madelyn Van Herwynen, Dominique Codjia, Mireille Codjia and Etienne Codjia; and his sister Mara Berzin. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other extended relatives, and dear friends.
