He was predeceased by : his parents, John Obermann and Janet Obermann; and his sister Michal Pozorski (George). He is survived by : his nephew Phillip Beese; his wife Sharon Obermann; his son Chad Obermann (Angela H.); his grandsons, Caleb Obermann (Gracie B.), Colin Obermann (Brettyn H.) and Cody Obermann; and his siblings, Barb Beese (Jim), Larry Obermann (Anne), Ted Obermann and Dan Obermann. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other extended relatives, and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church (2330 E Calumet St, Appleton, WI 54915). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
