With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Elaine Burns (Appleton, Wisconsin), who passed away on December 11, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Farnsworth and Bernice Farnsworth; and her parents-in-law, George and Catherine Burns (Bob). She is survived by: her husband Robert Burns (Bob); her children, Michael Burns (Nancy Breitenstein), Joan Baptist (Patrick), Patrick Burns (Cathy), John Burns (Therese), Joseph Burns and Richard Burns; her sisters, Betty Proeber, Barbara Hussong (Ronald) and Marie Franco (Dennis); and her sister-in-law Jill Coates. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established to support the education of Joyce's great-grandchildren, ensuring her love and dedication to family lives on for generations to come.
