He was predeceased by: his parents, Mell Buxton and Vera Buxton (Poole); his brother Donald Buxton; his former wife Joan Kienitz Buxton; and his wife Carole Wang Buxton.
He is survived by: his children, Bret Buxton (Pam), Jane Vandenberg (Mark) and Elise; his grandchildren, Christine Erspamer (Brent), Tyler Buxton (Clara), Samantha Chybowski (Matt), Ryan Buxton (Jarod Webster), Emily Vandenberg (Phil Dobernig), Dellas Vandenberg, Stephanie Fossum (Brian), Karen Alexander (Brandon) and Amy Schweitzer (Derek); his great grandchildren, Bradley, Braeden Erspamer, Wren, Silas Buxton, Lola, Evangeline and Royce Fossum; and his sisters-in-law, Sharon Buxton and Ardes Smith.
