LaVahn M. Miles Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaVahn M. Miles of Appleton, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 10, 2022, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse E. Ballard and Nora J. Ballard (Krenkel); her son Kurt; her grandson Corey Miles Hoffman; her sister Arlene Maves; her grandmother Peterson; and her son-in-law Bill Shortley.
She is survived by: her husband Samuel W. Miles; her children, Kaaren Shortley, Scott Miles (Yolanda), Jess Miles (Pat), Kimberly and Marcia Hoffman (Richard); and her godchildren, Terry Maves and Nora Broeniman. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
