She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur H. Mech and Bertha C. Mech (Smith); her former husband James L. Gehrt; her siblings, James (Darlene) and Jean Gruetzmacher (Roy); and her siblings-in-law, Marilyn Lehrer (Daniel) and David Roocks.
She is survived by: her husband E. Thomas Roocks; her children, Laurie Muller (Harry), Rod Gerht (Wende), Ann Joosten (William) and Paul Roocks; her grandsons, Mike Gehrt (Meagan Beavers), Matt Gehrt and Eric Joosten (Roxy); her great grandchildren, Olivia, Sophia, Monte and Audrey; her sisters, Lois Borchardt, Sandra Mech and Susan Carlson; and her sisters-in-law, Sally Roocks and Gretchen Mish (Michael). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
