Lorena V. Roelke Obituary
We announce the death of Lorena V. Roelke (Appleton, Wisconsin), who passed away on October 16, 2026, at the age of 94. Lorena will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Meisel and Dorothy Meisel (Ubbelohde); her husband Frank Roelke, Jr.; her siblings, Harvey Meisel (Gloria), Kingsley Meisel, H. Paul Meisel (Lucy) and Audrey Bundensen (Jess); and her brother-in-law Wayne Hiller (Franks).
She is survived by: her children, Russ (Lynn), Cyndi Thaldorf (Jim) and Judy Sprink (David); her grandchildren, Tom Schmidt (Adrianne), Anne Roelke, Kelli Peer (Dain), Eric Thaldorf (Shaye), Hannah Sprink and Paige Sprink; and her sister Sharlene Hiller. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the Wichmann Funeral Home (537 N Superior St, Appleton, WI 54911). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
