Lorna Ruth Barber Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorna Ruth Barber of Appleton, Wisconsin, who passed away on March 11, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Rubbert and Selma Rubbert (Krenke); her husband Edward Barber, Jr.; her brother Gerhardt Rubbert (Evelyn); her stepmother Viola Schultz Rubbert; and her siblings-in-law, Phyllis, Grant Jones, Betty, LeRoy Haufschildt, Bruce, Patricia Barber and Clifford Barber.
She is survived by: her children, Beckie Grube (Pastor Curt) of Algoma, James Barber (Patty) of Menasha, Richard Barber (Sue) of Appleton and Robert Barber of Appleton; her grandchildren, Paul Grube (Jennifer) of Nevada, Anna Carr (Shane) of Arizona, Jennifer Corcoran (Brandon) of LaCrosse and Jon Barber (Michelle) of Appleton; her sister-in-law Marjory Barber of Appleton; her great grandchildren, Xavier, Molly and Erica; and also Curt Grube.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in Lorna's name to St. Paul Lutheran Church or School.
