Lorna Edwina Kasten Obituary
We bid farewell to Lorna Edwina Kasten of Appleton, Wisconsin, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 12, 2025 at the age of 80. Lorna touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vera Davidson and Edwin Davidson; her father-in-law Les (LaVerne Kasten); her siblings, Ronald Davidson and Bonnie Felauer; and her brothers-in-law, Ed Felauer, Glenn Kasten and Tom Van Thiel.
She is survived by: her stepfather Alvin Lietz; her husband Les Kasten (Darboy); her sons, Lee Kasten (Nancy) of Appleton and Kraig (Tammy) of Appleton; her grandchildren, Evie Brossman (Bill) of Seymour, Celia Tichelaar (Zach) of Wauwatosa, Leslie Kasten of Chicago, Rece Kasten of Appleton and Kali Kasten (Jason Oft) of River Falls; her stepgranddaughters, Olivia Kuenster (Ivy Evrard) of St. Paul and Abigail Kuenster (Kyle Wainscott) of Indianapolis; her great grandchildren, Vera Rose Brossman and Theodore Winton Tichelaar; her sister Sandra Kasten; and her siblings-in-law, Nancy Davidson, Bonnie VandenHeuvel (Carl), Donnie Kasten (Rose), Sandy Van Thiel, Peggy Van Asten (Dick) and Lori Kowalski (Keith). She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (2220 E College Ave, Appleton, WI 54915). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, Lorna requested that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital and Friends of the Appleton Fire Department.
