With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Louise Karen Scheelk of Appleton, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 31, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Louise departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Louise. Though Louise may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lester Harris Zeatlow and Margaret Florence Zeatlow (Williams); her husband David L. Scheelk; her children, Matthew Scheelk (Heather) and Rae Scherschel (Marc); her grandchildren, Alexis Scherschel, Anya Scherschel and Archer Scheelk; and her sister Barbara Zeatlow. She was also cherished by many cousins and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
