With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Luonne Anne Berglund of Appleton, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 2, 2026 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter McDermitt and Theresa McDermitt (Gabriel); her son Rod; and her siblings, Maury, Niles and Sharon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rhonda Lecker (Fred), Anne Young (Greg) and Michelle Miller (Kevin); her grandchildren, Jeff (Ericka), Nicole (Mitchell), Sarah (Jason), Michael (Tasia), Ryan (Donya), Jennifer (Rob), Stephanie (Matt), Matthew (Nadine) and Emily (Joe); her great grandchildren, Bella, London, Harper, Lainey, Lilly, Brayden, Raegan, Colton, Knox, Sophia, Layla, Memphis, Evelyn and Valarie; and her daughter-in-law Mary Berglund. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 9th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Brettschneider Trettin-Nickel Funeral Chapel (606 N Oneida St, Appleton, WI 54914). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established.
