She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Gilbert and Harriet Gilbert (Hibbert). She is survived by: her husband Peter Verhagen; her sons, Joshua Verhagen (Andrea) and Justin Verhagen (Karen); her grandchildren, Logan Verhagen, Jaden Verhagen (Emily), Grace Verhagen, Silas Verhagen, Norah Verhagen, Lauren Vinichenko (Ivan), Lincoln Verhagen and Emerson Verhagen; her siblings, Donald Gilbert (Donna), Dean Gilbert (Susie), Judy Uitenbroek (Steve) and Sandy McMullin (Kelly); and her sister-in-law Betty Merbach. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
