It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Markus Andrew West of Appleton, Wisconsin, born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, who passed away on October 4, 2021, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his significant other Bonnie Hesselman; his father Roger West (Sharon); his children, Sarah Fuerst (Doug), Toni Serbus (Joshua), Quintin West (Katelyn Kolis-Bowler), Carrie Paluch, Stephanie Desens (Jon) and Jonathon Hesselman (Meghan Henderson); his grandchildren, Rae and Brayden Fuerst; and his siblings, Dean West (Deborah), Shannon Homan (Craig) and Jacob West (Susan). He is also survived by other relatives, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, a tree will be planted in Mark's memory.
