She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Smith, and Stella Smith, Sr. (Caldwell); her husband Mike Ninham; her grandson Sagjewegies Smith; her siblings, Warren "Sarge" Smith, Bernard "Smitty" Smith, Sr., James Smith and Mary "Tweet" Smith; and her nephew Bernard "Gronks" Smith, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Michelle Smith (Daniel) and Roland Knox; her grandchildren, Danielle Smith, Tanaya Knox, Conrad Rockman, Kewaskum Knox, Joseph Knox, Bernard Knox and Stella Knox; and her brothers, Joseph "Puffer" Smith, Sr. (Dorothy), Gerald T. Smith and Stephen "Kooka" Smith. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
