We announce the death of Michael David Hurley (Appleton, Wisconsin), who passed away on October 25, 2026, at the age of 67. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Hurley and Rosalie Hurley (Michaud); his sister Sue Bruette; his brother-in-law Clyde Kees; and his great-niece Rowyn Ruth Keddell.
He is survived by: his siblings, Helen Johnson (Todd), Dave Hurley (Debbie) and James Hurley (Rita); and his nieces and nephews, Josh Bruette (Alicia), Amanda Galindo (Sergio), Jason Hurley (Amanda), Lauren Smith (Tyler), Kendall Kaatz, Megan Keddell (Tom), Scott Kees, Cooper Johnson (Kayla), Paige Blythe (Nick), Brett Hurley (Natalie) and Troy Hurley. He is also survived by 13 great nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wichmann Funeral Home (537 N Superior St, Appleton, WI 54911). A memorial service will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established.
