He is survived by: his wife Lynn Spence; his children, Matthew Spence (Cristi) and Christina Aniol (Jason); his grandchildren, Katherine Spence, Meghan Spence, Codi Spence and Peyton Aniol; his great grandchildren, Kinsley Aniol and Malakai Spence; his brother Kenny Spence; and his stepfather Paul Kiefer.
