He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd and Olga (Knappen); his former wife Joanne Koss; his children, Michael Mogensen and Cathryn Whitman; his brothers, Orville, Martin and Jack; and his granddaughter Courtney Mogensen.
He is survived by: his wife Carol (Christie); his sons, Greg Mogensen (Kari), Scott Mogensen (Linda) and Todd Mogensen (June); his daughter-in-law Debbie Mogensen; his grandchildren, Matthew (Jeannette), Andrew (Kristopher Mogensen), Erik (Kimberly), Bryan (Sarah), Natalie Whitman (Scott Lopas), Alaina Blackbourn (Tyler), Douglas Mogensen (Rebecca), Stefanie (Sam), Benjamin, Melissa Hanser (Matt), Mitchell (Taylor), Tyler (Ashley) and Cassey Mogensen; and his stepchildren, Darin, Steven and Kelly Mark. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren.
