She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Nickel and Anna Nickel (Ritzke); her husband Robert Bruex; her sisters, Ceil Hopfensberger (Reynold), Sally Gries (Norbert) and Dorothy Zahringer (Arthur); and her siblings-in-law, Roy Wolf, Norman Bruex (Ceil), John Bruex, Victor Bruex (Phyllis) and Joan Schaefer (Norbert).
She is survived by: her children, Donald (Sally), Carolyn, Nancy Schley (Otto) and Ann; her grandchildren, Monica Schildbach (Stephen), Andrew (Rachael) and David (Beverly); her great grandchildren, Zephyr, Victor, Jude, Naomi, Grace and Dorian; and her sister Marie Wolf. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
