Oswald Rapp Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Oswald Rapp (Appleton, Wisconsin). Oswald, born on June 1, 1940, passed away on May 31, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Oswald Rapp to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Oswald Rapp and Minnette Rapp (Hochmuth); his wife Kathleen Kelling; his parents-in-law, Marvin and Elsie Kelling; his brothers-in-law, John Kelling and David Stanton; and his close friend Jacquelyn Lindmair.

He is survived by: his sister Lynn Stanton of Juneau; his children, Colleen Mauthe (Tony) of Appleton, Cynthia Hitchens (Grant) of Downingtown, Christine Gruendemann (Donald) of Kewaskum and John Rapp (Debbie) of Green Bay; his grandchildren, Lila, Samuel and Gabriel Mauthe; his children, Nathan, Grace Hitchens, Spencer Gruendemann (Faith), Stella Gruendemann, Olivia Shuttleworth (Matt) and Meagan Selle (Austin); his great grandchild Emmett Selle; his nephews, John Stanton (Marty), Rodney Stanton (Peggy) and Kevin Stanton (Nikki); and his pet Tiger. He is also survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews; numerous close friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Linwood Community, a ministry of Fox Valley Lutheran Homes.
