She is survived by: her daughter Alyssa Root (Brandon); her grandchildren, Cecilia and Ryatt Root; her significant other Kurt Desorcy; her siblings, Kathy Spoehr (Chuck), Jeff Zeegers (Erika), Nancy Wimberger, Matt Zeegers (Lu) and Andy Zeegers (Shelley); her brothers-in-law, Tom Hurley, Russ Berggren and Leon Schabow; and her close friends, Laurie, Marion and Karen. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established.
