He was predeceased by: his parents, Lars Aaltonen and Hannah Aaltonen; and his siblings, Levi, Laurie, Betty, Ruthie, Helvi and Rouni.
He is survived by: his children, Eric Aaltonen and Kristen Schroeder (Shane); and his granddaughters, Audrey Aaltonen, Josie Schroeder and Amelia Schroeder.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Central Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery (King, WI 54946).
