He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dachelet and Josephine Dachelet (Foeler); and his brother John Dachelet. He is survived by: his wife Sami (Irene) Kuehni (Horounziak); his stepchildren, Peggy Key (Terry), Barb Lewis (Kenyan), Bonnie Schuster and Greg Kuehni; and his siblings, Ann Luther (Lester), Robert Dachelet (Christy), Marie Wurdinger (Bud), Jim Dachelet (Chris), Thomas Dachelet (Alison), Patty Ulman (Louis) and Debra Andres (Jake). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Valley Funeral Home (2211 N Richmond St, Appleton, WI 54911). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

He did so many thing with them and taught them so many things. He was alway ready to take them skating or play cards and teach them chess. What a gentle and devoted husband and man. He will be missed.”
