It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Ann Murphy (Appleton, Wisconsin), born in Watertown, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 19, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Maron and Hilda Maron (Munzel); her son-in-law Mark Van Zummeren; her siblings, Erwin Maron (Carol), Arnold Maron, Gerhard Maron (Bernadette), Lucille Behlke (Robert) and Ruth Hasslinger (David); and her brother-in-law Roger Murphy.
She is survived by: her children, Cindy Kehl (John) of Appleton, Jean Neumann (Kenneth) of Colorado, Thomas Murphy of Appleton, Mark Murphy (Jodi) of Jackson and John Murphy (Rhonda) of De Pere; her grandchildren, Daniel Neumann (Jillian), Brianna Lucht (Peter), Mason Murphy (Nancy), Karissa Murphy, Joshua Murphy and Macaida Murphy; her great grandchildren, Adalynn and Kayleigh Neumann; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Jennifer Lockridge (Jason), Keith Neumann (Aileen), Emily Neumann and Tim Neumann (Jacque); her siblings-in-law, Karen Reiter (Lyle) of Illinois, Mike Murphy (Carol) of Fremont and Karen Murphy of Menomonee Falls; and also, Harrison, Annabelle, Sofia, Aria, Everson, Stella, Quinn, Clark and Kurt. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
