He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Lynch and Marie Lynch (Spaay); his former wife Bernice Barman; his siblings, James Lynch, Dolores Wallace, John "Jack" Lynch, Patricia Tziolas and Howard Lynch Jr.; his grandson Tom Lynch Jr.; and his stepson Bryan Gear.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Karen Dorn (Leroy), Tom Lynch (Lu Shanklin), Richard Lynch (Cheryl) and James Lynch (Kristi); his grandchildren, Eric Dorn, Bryan Dorn, Jodi Lynch, Anthony Lynch, Danielle Lynch (Lucas), David Lynch (Isabella), Adam Lynch, Connor Lynch, Nathan Lynch, Michelle Moderson and Ryan Shanklin; his great grandchild Forrest Dorn; and his stepchildren, Laureen Sippel (Dennis), Lynn Parent (Dave), David Gear (Frieda), William Gear (Debra) and Steven Gear (Beth). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
