He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Metko and Ida Metko (Schultz); and his son Ronald "Ron" Metko. He is survived by: his children, Scott Metko (Jody), Laura Dietzen (Josh Yenter) and John Metko (Vicki); his grandchildren, Andrew Metko, Tyler Dietzen (Madelynn), Ryan Metko (Sarah), Marissa Metko (Graysen Westerman), Aaron Dietzen, Morgan Metko and Austin Metko; his great grandchildren, Conrad Metko, Lucas Metko and Everleigh Dietzen; and also Kim Metko.
